Why are your shirts priced so high?

A large portion of our profits go back to non-profit organizations. This means we need to price everything slightly higher. And everything is made of the highest quality here in the USA, which costs a little more. Also, the quantities on everything we make are limited. We don’t mass produce anything. You won’t find us at Wal-Mart, K-mart, or anywhere else that ends with a frumpy-sounding syllable.

Why don’t you take returns?

The current financial relationship we have with the organizations we support makes it complicated to issue monetary returns. While we can’t offer refunds, we’re happy to exchange your goods at no cost.

Do you ship internationally?

Oui! Oui!

So, does the full 40% of my purchase go towards a given non-profit?

40% of the net proceeds (profits after production costs) will support the organization directly.

How do you select the organizations that you work with?

We’re always looking for new inspiring causes that motivate us, and that we’d like to support. Once we find one that we like, we’ll reach out to them, establish a relationship, then move into product development.

I have a non-profit organization, would you be willing to work with us.

Shoot us an email to development {at} kharmanyc.com, we’d be happy to check it out

Why the “H” in kharma?

The name was actually a blend of “karma” - a consequential response to one’s actions, and “dharma” - a term that means one's righteous duty. While karma seemed to mirror a consumers relationship to the brand, dharma seemed to represent what we feel is our responsibility as a brand. Plus the url was taken.
